Whistleblowing form

This form can be used to make a report of an unlawful act within the sense of Act No. 171/2023 Sb., on the protection of whistleblowers ("the Law").

 

A whistleblower is an employee of Sonepar Česká republika spol. s r.o. ("Sonepar") or any other natural person who reports a violation of law of which he/she has become aware in the course of his/her employment or other activities for Sonepar.

 

A whistleblower who suspects that a violation has occurred or may occur has the opportunity to report his or her suspicions without fear of any negative consequences or retaliation.

 

The notification shall include information about a possible violation that has occurred or is about to occur at Sonepar and that

  • has the characteristics of a crime,
  • it has the characteristics of an offence for which the law imposes a fine with an upper limit of at least CZK 100,000. CZK,
  • violates the law, or
  • violates another legal regulation or a regulation of the European Union in the area defined in § 2 paragraph 1 letter d) point 1-14 of the Law.
  • violates the principles of our 2020 Code of Conduct

 

The notifier is entitled to submit the notification to an authorised employee in person, by telephone or in writing (electronically or in paper form).

 

The notification in paper form may be placed in a box marked „Schránka bezpečí“, which is located in the Sonepar building, at Vážní 1125, 500 03 Hradec Králové, on the ground floor of the building, near the HR department office.

The whistleblower can also make a written notification via an electronic form.

The competent person shall confirm acceptance of the notification to the notifier within 7 days from the date of receiving the notification, unless the notifier has expressly requested the competent person to not notify him of the acceptance of the notification or it is clear that notification of the acceptance of the notification would reveal the identity of the notifier to another person or the notification is anonymous.

All notifications will be treated objectively and confidentially and will be thoroughly investigated within a reasonable time.
